DellShire Resort - Bringing a New Wisconsin Dells Destination to Life

Nickles Electric Construction is proud to have partnered on the design-build electrical systems for the new DellShire Resort in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin—an extraordinary hospitality destination that blends medieval-inspired architecture with modern amenities to create a one-of-a-kind guest experience.
Perched above a scenic creek overlooking the historic Kilbourn Dam, DellShire Resort features 208 guest rooms, an indoor/outdoor pool, family entertainment center, restaurant, and flexible meeting spaces, establishing itself as one of Wisconsin Dells' newest premier vacation destinations.
From the moment guests arrive, they're immersed in the resort's storybook atmosphere. Visitors are welcomed by Golspar, a breathtaking 60-foot fire-breathing dragon that stands guard over the entrance. Ornate stonework, decorative corbels, iron ridge cresting, flaming torches, cathedral-style windows, and handcrafted architectural details continue the medieval theme throughout the property, creating an unforgettable experience both inside and out.
As the design-build electrical contractor, Nickles Electric Construction collaborated closely with the project team to deliver reliable, efficient, and code-compliant electrical systems that support the resort's extensive hospitality amenities while complementing its unique architectural vision. Through early coordination and proactive design collaboration, our team helped provide solutions that supported construction schedules, enhanced system performance, and prepared the facility for future expansion.
DellShire Resort represents the first phase of a long-term redevelopment of the historic Fort Dells property. Future phases will introduce distinctive accommodations including hillside earth homes and elevated treehouses, transforming the site into a nationally recognized destination that combines immersive themed lodging with the natural beauty of Wisconsin Dells.
